SETX WebDev - Privacy Policy

Southeast Texas Web Development is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of it's clients and believes that the protection of client interests is one of its most significant responsibilities. In acknowledgment of its obligations, and since U.S. Law is both convoluted and largely ineffective when it comes to your privacy on the internet, Southeast Texas Web Development has adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information with regard to it's clients through the course of its business and in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998 (U.K.):

1.) Acquisition of Information:

We do not acquire any more information about our clients than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely.

2.) Our Employees and Privacy:

All who work directly with our web development projects are instructed on the importance of your privacy. We give access to information about you only to those who require it in order to perform their web development tasks.

3.) Security Measures:

We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with any said legal requirements and the demands of customer service.

4.) Disclosure to Third Parties:

Southeast Texas Web Development is a stand alone entity. Situations that allow for us to interact with any third party are rare. We will provide individually-identifiable information about our clients to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the client, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.

5.) Privacy and Our Business Associates:

When we make our technology or services available to business associates, we will not share with them any more client information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
